FAQ

WHERE ARE YOUR TABLES MADE?
Our tables are handmade here at our store/factory in Los Angeles.
HOW DO THEY DO OUTDOORS?
We make our tables to go indoors or out. With proper care they will last many years outside. They are not frost resistant unless under a covered patio. Care should be taken to move the table top to a sheltered place during the winter if your climate is subject to freezing temperatures. They can also be damaged under full sun in very hot climates, so we recommend a shaded location under these circumstances.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
Our tables are made with either high-fired ceramic tile or stained glass. Both of these materials are extremely durable. They will never fade or wear out, and are extremely chemical and stain resistant. Both materials are hand-made and will naturally have some imperfections and color variations. The frames, bases and seating are powder-coated steel.
DO YOU MAKE TABLES IN DIFFERENT HEIGHTS?
Our tables and bases are made separately. We make bases in coffee (17-19"), dining (29"), kitchen (36"), and bar (42") heights for all our tables. We can also custom make a base any height in-between.
HOW MUCH DO TABLES COST TO SHIP?
Larger tables that cannot be shipped FedEx are shipped blanket-wrap freight. The cost depends on where you live and the size/weight of the table and base. Call or email for a quote.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TABLE?
Tables can be cleaned with dish soap, glass cleaner, or just water. Tree sap and hard water stains can be removed using a "non-scratch" kitchen scouring pad or #0000 steel wool. Be sure never to use any other grade of steel wool or abrasive cleansers. If your table in an uncovered area, it should be re-sealed twice a year. We use and recommend 511 Impregnator Sealer by Miracle Sealants. You can view our how-to-seal video on our YouTube channel by clicking here. There are links to the products used in the description. You can clean the metal base and our chairs with orange or lemon oil every few months to protect it. Rust spots or scratches can be touched up with a can of flat black or satin Rust-Oleum.
DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM SIZES?
If you're the patient type, we can make any custom size up to 48" round, or up to 43 x 92" rectangular. The turnaround for custom tables is currently four weeks.
WHAT OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE FOR BASES?
For our round tables we use a pedestal base made of forged steel tube legs with standard size nylon glides. For our rectangular tables we use 1 1/2" steel tube bases with nylon, non-sctatch feet. All of our table prices include the top and base. For those of you who need to take your tables inside during the winter, the top can be easily removed.
